Gunnee

Well... we kinda adopted a dog a few months ago... so we 'share' him with Karl, our roommate. Karl named him Gunnee, being that is had something to do with enlisted men. Anyways, for those of you who haven't seen him yet, here he is. We really lucked out, he's a super good dog - eager to please, and has taken to training well. Just can't get him to stop 'sniffin' for food all the time. argh!....don't know if you can win them all.

GGOGG

This is one amazing guy. The amount of good he's done in a lifetime is admirable. And, he's still truckin'. Constantly on the go, always taking care of business. As my brother, Michael put it, I am proud to call him my grandpa.

William

Love of my life. It has become comforting that he allows me to practice on him all the time.
Somehow, I do not think that if the roles were reversed, that I would be so cooperative.
Here however, he is trying to ignore the fact that I have a camera. He did not do too bad eh?

Nobuhito Nishigawara

A fairly new ceramics instructor at Cal State Fullerton. Nobu is quite an accomplished sculptor, and I was please to get this shot of him, with the emphasis on his hands. He's definately one to watch in the ceramics/sculpture world.

Amazing People

Always looking so serious. Baba. Still makes delectable pirogies, and sets a mean table overflowing with myriad dishes and tidbits of treats.

Ely Summer

This was taken this summer in Ely, Minnesota - right outside of the area that we drive into to go canoeing. This house is taken care of by a guy, Ben, who's wife/family has been in the area and this house for quite a number of years. Ben, is a salt of the earth kind of guy. Every time we see him, he is inspiringly chipper - one of those people that you wish you were always around, cause it's so much easier to be nice and genuinely happy. Here's wishing there were more Ben's in the world! ( and uncle terry(s) and paul(s) too) Minnesota just happens to have some of the coolest people!

On the second night in the Boundary Waters, we relaxed after dinner and watched this vibrant sunset.
